For employers · The Menopause Action Plan

A workshop your people will actually thank you for.

Larger employers are being asked to publish a Menopause Action Plan with evidenced actions in it. Most wellbeing offers aim at the thinking mind alone, so they fail the women who need them most. This is the stress side of your plan, done properly: a three-level model, a live check in the room, and tools matched to the level each person is actually running from.

The deadline you are already on

This year is the practice year.

Under the Employment Rights Act 2025, employers with 250 or more staff can publish a Menopause Action Plan voluntarily from April 2026, and publication is expected to become mandatory from spring 2027, alongside gender pay gap data. Government guidance asks for evidenced actions and explicitly suggests training. The question is no longer whether you publish a plan, but whether there is anything in it your employees will recognise as real help.

April 2026

Voluntary publication opens for employers with 250 or more staff, next to gender pay gap data.

2026, the practice year

Plans drafted now. Guidance asks for evidenced, practical actions, and names training and access to support.

Spring 2027

Publication expected to become mandatory, subject to secondary legislation.

The problem your current offer cannot solve

Generic stress training applies the wrong tool to the wrong problem.

You cannot reframe your way out of a body-level alarm surge, and a breathing exercise does not dismantle a catastrophic story about your career. When the training does not work, employees conclude something is wrong with them, and stop telling you. Perimenopause turns the volume up on all three levels at once, at exactly the career stage where you can least afford to lose people.

What I deliver

A diagnostic they can reuse, language managers can use safely, and a named action for your plan.

A practical, science-based session built on a simple three-level model of the stress response: the body-first alarm, learned triggers, and mind-led worry, and why perimenopause turns the volume up on all three. Every attendee uses the check live in the session, on their own phone, and leaves with tools matched to their own level. No lecture, no awareness-raising platitudes.

Why this, and why one supplier

Four pillars, one programme, one invoice.

The stress side is where I work, and it is the part every other menopause offer leaves out. Around it sit three more pillars delivered by qualified partners: fitness, nutrition and advanced HRT signposting. An employer can name a whole programme in its plan and buy it from one place, instead of four suppliers and four contracts.

I am not a clinician and do not advise on HRT or medical treatment. I signpost to GPs and menopause specialists, and partners deliver only what they are qualified and insured for. That keeps your plan's boundaries clean.
